Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

Hebrews 4: 14-16 MSG

God is holy and He cannot behold sin. Man’s best effort at living holy is like a filthy rag before God but God loves man, so the dilemma is how can the Holy God who loves the sinful man relate? Jesus solved the problem once and for all. He became sin, He took on the nature of sin and gave us the nature of righteousness. Therefore, Jesus became our substitute, He took our place and transferred to us His own place, God rejected Him in order to accept us. Since the wages of sin is death, He died to sin, in order to give us the God kind of life. He rose to ensure that life is ours. He sent His Holy spirit to guarantee that life. He is at the right hand of God the Father interceding for us.

Therefore, we should be bold towards God, because we have become acceptable before Him because of Jesus. Jesus is the reason for all that is ours from the Father. All that was needed to be done to make us acceptable and give us access has been done by the only qualified person, Jesus. Hallelujah!!!

Knowing this truth, we come boldly and confidently, with great assurance in our heart, completely unabashed, totally unashamed and with no iota of any sense of inferiority, we approach to receive freely from our Father God.
