Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

I John 3:1 NKJV

Your knowledge of who you are in Christ will give you a strong foundation to build your life on. There’s a reality we need to walk in and that is the reality of who we truly are. You have to know who you are in Christ so that you can live your life as God intended by living out the fullness of His power, love and wisdom. You have an identity and the more you agree with God about your identity in Him, the more you begin to reflect your God given identity. See yourself as God sees you.

Your identity doesn’t depend on something you have done, your true identity is who God says you are.

You are loved; you are accepted; you are united with God and one spirit with Him; you are a member of Christ’s body; you are complete in Jesus; you are free from condemnation; you are a new creation because you are in Christ; you are God’s co-worker; you have direct access to God; you are chosen to bear fruits; you are seated in heavenly places with Christ; you’re healed; you’re free from sin; you’re rich.

The best way to renew your mind and experience inner transformation is by knowing, thinking and speaking out loud who you are in Christ.

The devil oftentimes takes advantage of our ignorance to create an identity crisis in us which robs us of God’s plan and provision for us. The devil will always try to contradict what God has said about you through contrary situations and challenges but you must hold on to the Word of God and His promises.

And so on an auspicious day such as this after the birth of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, is remembered and celebrated all over the world, I urge you to know, believe and become all that God has afforded in the giving of His only begotten and much beloved son.

Have a great Boxing Day and a happy New Year in advance.
