“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Luke 12:32 NKJV
As far as God is concerned the kingdom is all yours. It gives Him great pleasure to see you reign in life, to see you do well. Reach your goals, realize your dreams, set new records, become all you desire to be, live out the fullness of your life, live in health and wealth. The limiting factor has always been FEAR. Fear is the greatest dream killer. It is what is holding us back from becoming all we have the potential to be and all God has made ready for us in Christ.
If there are no tendencies for us to fear, Jesus would not have commanded us to “fear not”. We could see exactly why we exercise fear. “Little flock” -we always feel little in ourselves compared to the great dream God has for us. Often times the resources, expertise, skills, connections, etc. required to attain our dreams are so high that our dream appears impossible, hence the fear.
The fear of failure, fear of lack, fear of standing alone, fear of rejection, fear of inadequacy. What kind of fear is holding you back today?
God has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will help you, I will provide for you. I will raise help for you. When you slip, I will hold you up, when you fail, I will cover you. Therefore, fear not. You may be small in yourself and little in your strength, but the Mighty One is with you and He is faithful to give you the kingdom.
