For assuredly, I say to you, WHOEVER SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS.

I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”

If I could scream anything at believers from the top of a mountain it would be “Speak the Word. It’s one sure way of exercising our authority on earth as believers.” Yesterday we kicked off the month with a powerful prophetic declaration and it couldn’t have been more apt for such a time as this. It sure was a great precedent for what we’ll be discussing over the course of the next few days

We exercise dominion by our words. With our words we give commands, we instruct – if you shall say unto this mountain be removed and cast into the sea…you will have what you say. We dictate and we determined outcomes – we will go and sacrifice and come back again, let us go over to the other side.

We need to be deliberate about how we use our words. Because with them we can create events, obtain victories – they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the Words of their testimony. By our words we are justified or condemned. Our words set the framework, the tone, of our very existence. With our words we create changes – son of man prophesy to this dry bones.

We’re made in the image and likeness of God. God creates, dominates, and causes changes by His Word. And so to truly be His children we must take a cue from His playbook and do the same. Speak the Word. At all times.
