Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;
Colossians 4:2 NKJV
I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected.
Habakkuk 2:1 NKJV
As you keep praying, you’re allowing God to work in you to be able to do in you, for you and through you His will for your life.
When you say ‘God give me money’, for example, He begins to draw your heart to things in you that you can deploy to make money, He begins to show you opportunities around you that you’ve never paid attention to.
When you say ‘God change my situation’, He begins to show a new image of you, to show you His plan for your life. He puts ideas and thoughts into your mind.
When you say ‘God change my marriage or my spouse’, He begins with you. He exposes to you what you’re doing wrong, what you can do better or things you better be doing.
The reason for failure in prayer is because we are not intelligently involved, therefore we are not able to perceive what God is doing, saying or showing us. Some of us can’t even remember some things we prayed for at the beginning of this month.
Be involved in your prayers, because you will be involved in the process.
