“For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved.”

Acts 27:23-25, 31 NKJV

As long as you stay within the confines of God’s word, God’s instructions and revelation, safety and progress is guaranteed. What you need is to load the Word of God into our system, seek “thus says the Lord,” find out what God says concerning you and/or about your particular situation, meditate on it until faith is built in you and faith is released from you.

“This is the victory that overcomes the world even our faith.” “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” “The faith of God is in this manner, the Word is in your heart and in your mouth, if you shall believe in your heart and declare with your mouth you shall be saved.” “If you shall say unto this mountain… and do not doubt in your heart, but believe that those things you say will come to pass, you will have what you say.”

There are lots of seductive and appealing, mouthwatering and eye-catching, mind blowing temptations beckoning onto us to step out of the ark, to step out of God’s Word, to step out of faith into the realm of sense. Promises of faster ways, better methods, surer principles, winning tactics, new discoveries, new products, better systems and all kinds of fantastic options offering to solve our problems, fix our issues, cure our bodies, sooth our minds, resolve our marital challenges. However enticing, these promises are and will always be empty.

Stay in the ark, stay in the Word, nothing survived outside the ark, nothing survives outside the Word.
