“He sends out his orders throughout the world; his words run as swift messengers, bringing them to pass.”

There are lots of challenges in the world and several people are promising all kinds of solutions to the problems and challenges we’re faced with. Sometimes it appears as if the Word of God is not enough, other times it doesn’t make sense to just go by the Word only, you feel you need to add other things to the Word. “There is nothing wrong with seeking help,” you say. The centurion said “speak the Word only and my servant shall be healed.” The Word of God is quick and sharper than a two edge sword, then why do you need another thing to assist the Word?

Remember in Genesis in the days of Noah, while the flood caused others to drown, destroyed houses, and capsized boats, the ark built by God’s instructions, God’s Word, floated and all those in it were preserved. When we step out of the Word to seek answers and solutions from other sources, it is like stepping out of the ark, where there is assurance, certainty, security, preservation and safety. But nothing survived outside the ark.
