So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent. But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaronโ€™s rod swallowed up their rods.

Exodus 7:10-12 NKJV

Whatever you have is enough, more than enough when it is given to God. When God takes hold of whatever skill, talent, dream, career, calling, passion, purpose you have; when your business becomes God’s, just like Mosesโ€™s rod became the rod of God; when the presence of God fills your career; when the hand of God touches your dream; when whatever it is you do becomes an instrument in the hand of God to fulfil His purpose, then it becomes imbued with the Spirit of God, it become God’s. It becomes a tool in the hand of God to make a difference.

It is essential for the believer to know that they have something more than the ordinary. It is important for us to be established in the knowledge of who we are and what we have. But then we should also know others whom we have to deal with in our neighborhood, work place, business dealings etc also engage in one enchantment or the other. However, what we have, what we carry has the capacity to swallow them all up, no matter how many they are. The scriptures say, “Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world”. In your office, in your industry, in your sector, in your field, God has called you and ordained you to be the head, the light, the inspiration and has given you the resources. He has anointed our rods, that is, our skill, talent, ability, equipment.

Therefore, when others display theirs, what you bring to the table will displace theirs. Whatever enchantments they’re involved with will be swallowed up. God told Joshua, “no one will be able to stand before you all the days of your life.” That same promise and commitment is true concerning you. Don’t be afraid of who they consult, what they sacrifice, or what they have buried. It does not matter how many nights they spent at the cemetery, how many mad people they slept with, how many human sacrifices they have done, your rod will swallow theirs because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

When they get to the end of their wit, you will just be reving to start. Get ready to swallow them up in your industry. Learn to wait upon God, be intentional about your walk with God, surrender yourself, your skill, business, and pursuit to God in order to become an instrument in the hand of God, it will become imbued with the Spirit of God and be ready to swallow up all oppositions.
