“…Let me die the death of the righteous and let my end be like his.”
Numbers 23:10b NKJV
Remember Job’s friends, instead of comforting him, they confronted him. Instead of consoling him, they condemned him, castigated him rather than care for him. They were presented with an opportunity to remember and reciprocate all his good deeds but instead they chose to investigate him, examine him, and scrutinize him. They found fault with him instead of mourning with him, they judged him in his affliction. Daniel was plotted against and thrown into the lion’s den. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into flames of fire.
But in spite of the diverse struggles these men went through, despite the misfortune that befell them at instances in their lives, they still came out better off than they were when they were beset with troubles. Christ was crucified but He was raised to glory and now He reigns supreme. Job recovered all and even more than he lost. Daniel was distinguished for excellence and the three Hebrew boys were delivered from the fire unscathed.
Consider the end of these men and don’t judge anything until then. The vision is for an appointed time at the end it shall speak and not lie. The end of the righteous is peace. You will end well. You’re coming out on top, your night will soon be over, for sorrow may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. The rain will soon be over, we command the wind to cease and we rebuke the storm in the name of Jesus. We declare peace and calmness in Jesus’ name.
Amen 🙏
