You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.

Psalms 65:11 NKJV

The Word of God reveals the mind & will of God. Through God’s Word, we know what God has done or intends to do and that sets our expectations. “You crown the year with your goodness.” We learnt earlier that “better is the end of a thing.” But this specifically tells us what God does with the year, He crowns it with His goodness and fills it with His bountiful harvest.

Now, this is what ought to set our expectations, not the fear and negativity that has polluted the atmosphere in the name of religion or people using fear of ‘ember months’ to hold people in bondage in order to take advantage of them. Every message, program or declaration that causes fear does not take its source from God or the Word of God. God is love and perfect love casts out fear and God’s Word produces faith, not fear. Fear is a tool of the devil and it takes advantage of our ignorance to rob us of our peace, rights and privileges in Christ Jesus.

Let the Word of God that created the heavens and the earth set your expectations for these ‘ember months.’ It means months crowned with God’s goodness. Expect good things to happen to you, things of joy and celebrations. It’s not everybody that benefits from the blessings of a season but those who understand it and position themselves for it. Your understanding determines your positioning and your positioning determines your outcome. Like the sons of Issachar, by the Word of the Lord I declare to you that it is a season of God’s goodness for you.

What you ought to do is fill your mind, thoughts, imagination and mouth with these words until your whole being sees and expects nothing but His goodness. I have no doubt I will hear your testimony, because this year will end well for you in Jesus name.

Let the Word of God set the sail of your mind that you may end in the destination it promised.

Declare with me, “God crowns my year with His goodness, this year ends well for me, favors I don’t deserve are coming my way, great opportunities are knocking on my door, I am having the best of times in Jesus name.”
