Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”

Jeremiah 1: 11-12 NKJV

August is here, what do you see? God asked Jeremiah “what do you see?” God did not ask him, “What do you have?” Neither did He ask him, “What can you do?” Because greatness, success, destiny and advancements in life are not about ability, skill or talent. It’s about dreams and vision. It’s about seeing the invisible. A man of dreams and vision with little or no ability will employ a man of great ability who has no dream. What is the distinct image, picture and future you see in August? What can you picture?

God responded to Jeremiah “I will give life to the images upon the canvas of your heart”. (Paraphrase: God is willing and ready to give life to your dreams). It is the image you see, the picture you have captured and are able to sustain in your mind that God will raise help for, deploy resources and send men to assist you accomplish. God does not commit Himself to an elusive vision, neither do men commit their time, energy and life to a nebulous dream.

God is waiting on you, what can you see in August? What dream do you have? It was Bishop Oyedepo who once said “the future you cannot picture, you cannot feature in.” Therefore, don’t waste August, wait upon Him, look inward, commune within yourself even as you commute around, and pay attention to your inside. There’s a dream welling up, an image you need to capture and sustain. Ponder on the dream long enough until it becomes graphically clear and tangible in your mind. It is dreams that change men’s story.

August will be your best month yet in Jesus name, God will open your eyes of understanding and enlighten your darkness and cause you to see clearly that which He has in store for you. God will show you a vision that will change your story and elevate your status in life in Jesus name.
