“Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.”
Genesis 28:12 NKJV
The angels first ascended before descending, which indicates that the angels are already here with us waiting on us to engage them. We are surrounded by an innumerable company of angels. But to experience angelic activities in our lives and on our behalf, we need to engage them through prayers. Each time men pray, angels are released to function on their behalf.
In Daniel chapters 9 and 10, as Daniel prayed for the fulfilment of the word concerning Israel as revealed in the book of Jeremiah 29, an angel was dispatched;
“Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.”
Daniel 10:12 NKJV
Supernatural activities take place on our behalf and concerning our lives as we engage in prayers. When Peter was kept in prison ready to be killed, prayers were made continually by the church unto God for him. An angel was sent to free him. The angel did not return until Herod the enemy of the church was struck and eaten up by worms.
The prayers of the saint releases and compels the activities of angels on earth.
We also saw an angel minister strength to Jesus as He struggled with the will of God in the place of prayers, “saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him” (Luke 22:42-43 NKJV).
It is time to release and experience angelic activities in our lives. It is time to release the supernatural.
