The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 NKJV
Welcome to the last month of the year 2024. Better is the end of a thing than its beginning. At this time there are all kinds of emotions and gushes of energy that have filled the atmosphere. Some are full of desperation to meet expectations, targets, deadlines set by societal standards and some are hoping to experience what they did not work for, while others can’t wait for 2024 to pass away so the good and promising 2025 will appear with baskets full of goodies.
What dream, vision or purpose did you commit your life, time, energy and resources to pursuing this year? Was it God’s vision for your life? Societal expectations? Following sport and trends? Or was the year spent trying to survive the economy – “Yahweh gbawa o” – or did your year just pass by aimlessly, blaming the government for your lack of progress?
Ponder upon your responses to the above awhile.
To be continued…
