This may sound weird, irreligious and unspiritual but the most spiritual book of all, the Bible, reveals a divine insight already been experienced by men from ages past. That God has put knowledge, information and insight into things around us to reveal Himself to us, His Power, Love and Wisdom. He has hidden gems of wisdom in things around us.

Every human discovery and invention has come from information and insight received from things around us. Isaac Newton discovered the law of gravity when he saw an apple falling, Galileo invented the pendulum in measuring time by “a chance observation of a church swinging lamp,” remember the story of eureka?  The Archimedes principle, as he observed water been displaced as he stepped into the bathtub. From the Greek legend of flying horses, to the discovery of flying kite. Man flies today because some men paid attention to flying birds. Everything around us is teaching some wisdom and revealing some truth but “Only a wise man will hear and a man of understanding will increase learning.” God even told us to go learn from the ants. “For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead…” (Romans 1:20).

There are advertising ideas waiting to pop into your head as you walk around, business concepts, political solutions and social theories that can change our country and influence our world. If we pay a little attention, be more introspective, we will discover that knowledge is found not only in books but all around us are streams of hidden gems of truth waiting to be discovered in everyday mundane things at the bus stations, in traffic jams, observing playing children, in a pregnant woman, in object behavior, etc. Those ideas that pop up in your mind while in the bathroom, it’s time to work on them, for success is said to be 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.
