But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
II Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
A lot of us desire change and transformation in our lives. We pray for change, we fast for it, we make new year resolutions, we exercise our will power in order to experience change, we meet our “daddies in the Lord” to lay hands on us etc., we do everything, (all of the above have their own place) but we often fail to follow God’s prescribed path to change and transformation. The above scripture shows us a simple, yet surer and perfect path to a changed life.
The first thing I want us to notice here is “But we all”; pastor or laity, young believer or old believer, church leader or ordinary member, all of us, no matter who you are, no matter your position, we all have equal and direct access to this transformation process. Any believer that abdicates the responsibility of reading and studying the Word of God for himself/herself to another, has chosen the path of ignorance and sign for slavery.
No matter who you are, no matter your past and human weaknesses, no matter the personal demons you’re battling with, irrespective of any emotional maladjustment you have by reason of childhood abuse, or some damaging traumatic experience, you can experience total life transformation. Your life can become totally altered and absolutely revolutionized by daily beholding the mirror of God’s word. WE ALL have unveiled faces, our eyes of understanding are opened to behold the glory of God as we look into the mirror of God’s Word.
It is those who look into the mirror that beholds the glory of God and experience transformation. If you look long enough and keep looking you will see the glory of God. I encourage you today, take responsibility for your life, for the changes you desire, for your transformation, follow God’s prescription, behold the mirror daily and be transformed. An amazing life awaits you, a life above and beyond your dream or anything you ever thought of. A change beyond your wildest imagination. I pray as you look into the mirror you will see the glory of God and be transformed into that glory in Jesus name.
