Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.

Psalms 67: 5-6 NKJV

Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

II Chronicles 20:22 NKJV

Not all plants can grow in all places. There are climates conducive for the growth and development of certain plants.

Certain diseases thrive more in certain climes than in others, as long as a virus has things that feed it, it grows in that place, but when the atmosphere is not conducive for it, it dies or remains dormant. An atmosphere determines what thrives in it.

A mouth full of gratitude, praise and testimony creates an atmosphere for God to function, for the Holy Spirit to move and for the will of God be accomplished. In Acts of the Apostles, in the midnight when Paul and Barnabas were in incarceration awaiting the worst for doing the will of God, their natural attitude should have been that of murmuring and complaining, sighing and lip biting but instead, they threw up a praise party. Each time man throws up a praise party, God always shows up.

Each time you call up a pity party: complaining and murmuring, whining and sighing, being critical, bitter and edgy, you suspend the presence of God, you invite the devil, you break the hedge of protection, limit the flow of grace and unleash the reign of hardship upon your life. God only dwells in the praises of His people. Oh! That His people will be full of His praises. That His presence may always be made manifest in our lives.

It’s time to create an atmosphere of His presence. Replace complaining with gratitude, murmuring with praise, sighing with thanksgiving, pity party with praise party as we change the atmosphere.
