Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”
I Samuel 17:36 NKJV
To magnify means to make to appear big. To talk about the power, wonders and activity, operations and accomplishments of someone.
When we talk about the works of the devil, we are unconsciously magnifying him, making him appear big. When we are always talking more about the negativities in the world, we are magnifying and making to appear big the one behind it.
When we talk more about God; about His Love, Mercy, Grace and Power; Faith, Joy and Confidence are released, but when we are so full of negativity: this mistake, that failure, that accident, that fire disaster, and all kinds of evil, we release fear into the atmosphere of our lives.
Faith builds up, motivates, inspires and empowers one to venture and succeed. Fear cripples, stalls, fills one with anxiety. What kind of force are you releasing with your words? What kind of atmosphere are you creating around you? Some people are so filled with negative stories that when you leave their presence you will be feeling so low and downcast; avoid them.
Our earth realm is governed and controlled by the Spirit realm. We determine the forces at work in our lives. When we speak God’s word and talk about what God is doing: the sick being healed, souls being saved and transformed, stories of grass to grace and all kinds of positively inspiring stories, we release the forces of God into operation and create an atmosphere of power and grace in our lives. We are motivated, inspired, we are filled with peace, joy and confidence.
Magnifying God, that is talking about what God is doing, releases and increases angelic activities in our lives and fills our lives with testimonies of victory after victory.
As you step out today, irrespective of what evil and negativity is going on around you, choose to focus and talk about one good thing happening in your life or around you. Let that be your meditation. Magnify the Lord!!! And not the devil.
