If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3: 1-2 NKJV

You reflect what you continually behold. Our minds have the capacity to incubate and reproduce what we focus on; negative or positive.

You were once a sinner, once ruled by Satan through your lust. You were once a child of wrath; incurring God’s anger and judgment. But God who is rich in mercy, because of His Great Love with which He loved you, has transformed your state through Christ.

You and I are no longer children of wrath, we are no longer governed by the god of this world. We have become His beloved, because of His Great Love for us. By believing in Christ, our position has been changed. Quit thinking, talking and living like Christ’s death did nothing for you.

Since we have now been raised with Christ, the bible tells us where to set our minds and what to seek. “SEEK those things which are ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST IS SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.”

What are those things above, where Christ is sitting? Have we been seeking them, are our minds focused on them? What are they really? We need to pause and ponder over this scripture. Selah!!!
