So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:9 NKJV
Satan constantly seeks to seduce us out of our place in God. Yesterday we took a look at some categories of people who the devil succeeded in seducing out of their place in God. Below are some others.
The Young Prophet: The young prophet whose name was not mentioned other than that he was young, anointed, empowered but naive and inexperienced in his walk with God, was seduced by Satan out of his place to an untimely death of both his life and ministry through a demonically inspired and fleshly ruled old prophet. May you be surrounded with men of the spirit who have dealt with the flesh, whose primary goal is to please God, see the will of God done and not crafty pursuits of personal glory and praise of men; not those who see you as a rival and competition rather than a complement, a completer and continuation of the grace they have walked in.
The Prodigal Son: He left his place in his Father’s house filled with some ‘amazing’ thoughts inspired by Satan’s ideas of rebellion. He left his place of love, warmth, and abundance for a life of scam, scandal, betrayal, abuse, depravity, humiliation, poverty, hunger, lack ill treatment and suffering. Whenever we leave our divine place which is the place God has set us into – a place of fulfillment of purpose, provision and glory, the place where our purpose, potential and provision are all in alignment, we emulate the actions of the prodigal son.
Our place in God is too important to throw away, for it is in that place that we can walk and work in perfect alignment with His will for us and for this world to which He has sent us.
Tomorrow we shall examine the lives of some exemplary people who refused to be cheated out of their place in God and the glorious outcomes that were birthed out of their lives as a result. Stay connected, see you tomorrow.
