But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge.
II Peter 1:5 NKJV
A couple of days ago we learnt the need to add virtue to our faith: the virtue of diligence, excellence, dedication, patience, honesty, integrity etc. in order to walk in the reality of the finished works of Christ. Even as we function on the earth we have also been told that knowledge will be an essential ingredient to living the fullness of life that is already ours in Christ.
Knowledge builds your confidence, enhances your competence, and enables you to contribute meaningfully to life. Knowledge adds value to your talent and anointing. No matter what you have been anointed to do, knowledge opens you up to greater possibilities, expands your scope of influence and establishes you as an authority. “A wise man is strong. Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength” (Proverbs 24:5 NKJV).
Ignorance limits your scope of operation and your productivity. Knowledge gives you an edge in life.
