You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

I John 4:4 NKJV

The conviction, persuasion with which we engage life, determines our attitude, conviction, persuasion, approach, confidence and outcome in everything. If you engage life with uncertainty, like a victim you will be whipped every single time and in every area of life. However, if you engage life, any project, dream or pursuit from the premise of a victor, with the conviction of a success, your energy level will be high, your attitude will be positive, your enthusiasm will be contagious and your faith will move mountains.

This scripture here tells us what is known about YOU in heaven, that earth is yet to experience “you have overcome.” Notice, it does not say that you will overcome, or that you could overcome, or that you might overcome, but long before you engaged the battle of life, long before you got into that marriage, before you began that career, that ministry, before you started that business, before you began the pursuit of that dream, you already overcame. You have already succeeded. You see, God has seen the end before the beginning. He knows the challenges ahead, but then He knows the stuff He has put into you, He knows what Jesus already did on your behalf and He knows the limits of the adversary and on that premise He declared you a WINNER. 

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Go ahead and face life like the winner you are, face rejections like the more than conqueror you are, navigate your way through the murky uncertainty of life with this assurance, continue to sail in the midst of the babel of voices of nay sayers, because you have already overcome. Says who? Says God!
