Continued from yesterday…
God’s thoughts towards us are thoughts of good, thoughts of wellbeing: coming out on top, going through the economic heat un-scorched, coming out of a broken relationship whole. When we fail or falter, His thoughts towards us are thoughts of mercy and compassion, not of judgement and karma. When we’re lost or have missed the mark, His thoughts towards us are thoughts of repentance and restoration in the midst of danger and calamity.
In danger, His thoughts towards us are thoughts of safety and deliverance. In times of difficulty beyond our knowledge, power or understanding, His thoughts towards us are thoughts of victory and overcoming.
Knowing what He thinks towards us is refreshing and focusing our minds on it is liberating.
There will be wars and rumors of wars, bad news will fill the atmosphere, fear and panic from economic analysis and political uncertainty will saturate the air. There may be loss of jobs and devaluation of currencies, fear may fill everywhere and uncertainty may rent the air, but do not fear, because the thoughts God has towards us are thoughts of safety, wellbeing, victory and not of calamity. We’re not victims, we’re victors. We’re coming out with a testimony in Jesus name.
