Continued from yesterday…

What is responsible for ignorance is lack of exploration. Jesus instructed us to ‘search the scriptures’ and when we search we shouldn’t just explore, but also put to work, try out the things we have learnt. Let us take Jesus’s cue and examine some scriptures for reasons why we ought not to lack.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING in the heavenly places in Christ,” (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV). Whatever kind of blessing you can imagine, it’s already ours in Christ stored up for us in heaven, but since we’re here on earth we have to download it. Any kind of blessing you can see in the Word, you’re already blessed with it. All the Abrahamic blessings, Noahic blessings, Davidic blessings, and in short any form of blessings mentioned, demonstrated, given, at any time to anyone in the scriptures is yours. The blessing of peace of mind, the blessing of divine protection, provision, defense, preservation, restoration etc. Search the scriptures, identify, recognize, and place a demand on these blessings. Stop being ignorant. Start exploring them. Start activating them. I should not lack because God has provided me with them.

“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” (II Peter 1:3 NKJV). This is another powerful scripture that reveals that God has given us everything, both spiritual and natural. Things that we require to live a good life, a happy and satisfied life. He knows we live in this natural world and in this natural world, we require certain things to live a fulfilled and happy life. These are not things God will give but things God has already given. Therefore, we should not lack. But these things only become ours by our personal, saving knowledge.

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (II Corinthians 9:8 NKJV). Irrespective of time or season, God wants you to not only always have, but also to have all sufficiency. Not in some things but in all things. God makes all grace, i.e. all abilities, to increase towards you. You have abundance for every project, task, dream, and interest. Wow!

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32 NKJV). You see our lack has no basis. God has not kept back anything from us. When He gave us Christ, He gave up everything for us in Christ. And so, a very pertinent reason why we should not lack as believers is that God does not withhold. He doesn’t keep back anything from us.

  1. Hallelujah 🙌 I have the blessings of the Lord in my life and I have no reason to stay in lack.
    Thank You Jesus Christ.
