O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come.
Psalms 65:2 NKJV
Continued from yesterday…
Yesterday we examined the prayer answering nature of God. But it will interest you to know that He doesn’t just answer. King David tells us how He answers in the Psalms, “By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas” (Psalms 65:5 NKJV).
He answers by unimaginable deeds, incomprehensible deeds, by terrific things, by awe inspiring displays, in amazing ways, by wondrous works and deeds. With mind blowing acts in righteousness He answers us. Hallelujah!!!!
The Apostle Paul described Him as “…Him who is able to do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, according to the power that works in us,” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). He does much more than our minds can ever fathom. Little wonder why the Lord Jesus continued admonition us to ask Him “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24 NKJV).
And so, in case you have doubts about this irrefutable nature of God, in case you may have long standing requests and prayer points, do not despair. Be expectant. God is not ignoring you, it’s not in His nature to. He’s a prayer answering God, that’s His nature.
Hallelujah 🙌🏿
