He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Psalms 1:3 NKJV

The relationship of the blessed man with the Word of God and flow of the spirit makes his life to yield timely results. He brings forth his fruit in its season. The point of this scripture is that every season is not your season, every season is not the time of your shining. It is not anytime that is fitting for everything.

There is a perfect season and a single phase of your life that is perfect for things to happen and outside of which things appear out of place. No matter the amount of water and manure, you don’t produce out of season or else you won’t be relevant and valued. So don’t despise the man or woman who seems to be living in the Word and walking in the Spirit but appears not to be yielding the corresponding results of their efforts.

Don’t look down on yourself when your spirituality and walk with God seem not to show in your material world. There is always the fullness of time, there is always the time appointed by the Father. We don’t determine seasons we only prepare for them and live in sync with them. Some people, in haste, uproot themselves out of the will of God before their season of reigning, and manifestation. Like Moses, called but not yet separated, they step out prematurely. Like Saul, they carry out divine tasks not assigned to them because of the delay or incompetence of those assigned. Some who are waiting on the Lord like Abraham, out of haste, yield to counsel contrary to the divine will of God and are forced to live with Ishmael and all its consequences.

It is interesting to know that God forgives your sins but does not wipe out the consequences. So be careful to recognize the place of time and seasons so you do not step out in error, committing serious life blunders that will stay with you forever.

Its leaves do not wither, his beauty does not diminish, his character does not change, he is consistent in nature. Everything he does, he does well, because of the accompanying wisdom, character and substance of the Word and the Spirit. This is the life of the blessed man.
