Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
Psalms 127:5 NKJV
They will speak to the enemy at the gate. Before the enemy enters the house: before sickness and diseases enters your body, before failure enters your life, before a negative situation takes residence in your marriage, before evil thoughts occupy your mind, the scripture says one of the strengths of the sons of redemption is their ability to speak to the enemy while still at the gate.
Your mouth is the immigration officer of your life, with it you either allow or deny access into your life. When you feel pain, that’s the enemy at the gate seeking to gain entrance into your life, waiting for your words of either affirmation or denial. When you say ‘I feel sick,’ ‘I think I’m going to have a bad day,’ then you give them access. When you hear bad news, that’s the enemy at the gate waiting for you to embrace it. When you hear things like ‘the economy is bad,’ you don’t have to accept that things will be bad for you. You’re not to say it’s a lie, or Satan is a liar. You’re to declare ‘my God shall provide all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,’ you’re to say ‘The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want.’
Speaking kingdom language is a skill every believer must possess. If you’re going to have a victorious life, you must learn to give an appropriate answer. Learn to speak the right words to the enemy at the gate.
