We all often miss it in one area of life or the other. Some mistakes have greater effects than others. The consequences of some errors are graver than others, the losses can be quite fatal. However, there is nothing, absolutely nothing that cannot be restored in His presence. In His presence is fullness of life.

Samson had supernatural power from God with which he delivered Israel from the Philistines but due to lack of self-control, discipline and focus, he allowed himself to be pressured into kissing this great power goodbye until he became an ordinary man. His locks, the source of his power, were shaved.

Now, let’s be straight on something, God is the ultimate source of our power, but God has given each man a means to that glory. For Samson it was an unshaven head as a Nazarene. For you it may be a studious life, a prayer life, a meditative life, the ability to listen, a giving life, etc. All these are means through which God pours His power into us. It is our continuous engagement with and preservation of those things that maintain a ceaseless flow of power and virtue in our lives and separate us from every other person. The enemy’s number one plot is to separate us from these things through busyness, cares of this life etc. When you stop engaging with these activities, the channels of supernatural manifestations are blocked and you begin to live an ordinary life and begin to function like mortal men. You are locked up in obscurity.

But that is not the time to seek relevance in the flesh, you will only condescend to the low level of compromise and gimmicks. Instead it is the time to allow your locks to grow again. When you stay in the presence of God, your locks will grow back, you will receive fresh impartation and you will return to the greater things than you have ever done before and even supersede them.
