We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”

Numbers 11:5-6 NKJV

Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 14:12 NKJV

Continued from Sunday…

Dearly beloved, between the promise and the fulfilment are many challenges and struggles posed by the enemy to discourage you and cheat you out of God’s blessing for your life. Everything has been done, however it is of faith that it might be by grace to the end that the promised might be made sure unto all (Rom 4:16). Therefore, you must possess this understanding:

1. Greater is He that is in you that he that is in the world.

2. Faithful is He who has promised who will also do it. It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a little of God’s Word to pass away unfulfilled.

3. Your adversary, the devil, is going about like a roaring lion whom you must resist steadfastly in faith.

4. The promise land is not vacant, there are giants in the land, but they are bread for us.

5. Never look at yourself from the natural perspective, or else you will see a grasshopper, see yourself through the eyes of God’s lens. Know who you are in Christ not who you are by your accomplishments.

6. In the world you shall have tribulations, but learn to rest in the finished work of Christ. “Rejoice,” He says “for I have overcome the world.”

7. Be established in this truth – the god of this world is judged. Therefore, learn to execute the written judgement.

8. Focus on knowing the heart and the ways of God, not just His acts. This knowledge will steady you in turbulent times.

9. Don’t be weary in well doing, that is, in living by the word in action, love and faith. Keep doing everything you are instructed by God and in His Word. Follow through every divine instruction even when you don’t seems to see any result. Just keep at it. It takes faith and patience. Be followers of them who through faith and patience inherited the promises.

10. Live a life of thanksgiving. In all things be thankful onto God. Avoid complaining and murmuring. Value, cherish, appreciate and celebrate what you have and request what you desire. Request and not complain.

That’s how you get the fulfillment of your promise and the manifest answers to your prayers
