Yesterday, we discussed how that faith is the key to receiving from God and not status. Here are some scriptural examples to buttress our standpoint and to help build up our faith.
Jairus was a ruler of the Synagogue, a religious, devoted and highly placed in Israel as regarding religious matters. He had faith in Jesus’ healing ministry but his level of faith was to the extent of Jesus physically laying hands on his daughter. He got healing for his daughter to the extent of his faith. Jesus had to come.
“And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and BEGGED HIM EARNESTLY, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. COME AND LAY YOUR HANDS on her that she may be healed, and she will live.” So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.” (Mark 5:22-24 NKJV).
His level of faith was revealed in his request. Jesus never compared his with anyone else’s faith and He responded to his level of faith. The miracle happened as he had believed.
