In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1 NKJV

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare.

I Timothy 1:18

God does nothing without His Word. The Word of God is the beginning of all things. At the beginning of the year, certain words and prophecies were spoken over your life. You received a word from the Lord concerning this year or concerning an issue, a project or an assignment.

It might be a promise, an instruction, a revelation, an idea, a divine principle or Word of Prophecy. Now there’s a very strong tendency for you to begin to lose sight of those words, by reason of busy-ness, pursuits of life, political and economic happenings around, all kinds of social activities, contrary situations, unforeseen circumstances etc.

I want to call your attention to it afresh, like Paul did to Timothy. Timothy was beginning to lose sight of the prophetic Word over his life and so Paul charged him concerning this word he had received.

Therefore, I charge you to wait on God for one if you’ve not received a word this year. It’s not too late and if you’ve received one, it’s time to revisit it and war with it.

Warring with the prophetic word begins with believing it, meditating upon it, declaring it and tenaciously holding unto it against every contrary situation. It also means praying it out until you see its manifestation. Allowing it to dominate your thoughts and influence your decisions. It means being in constant expectations of its manifestation.

I declare over you that you will be guided into your divine destiny. Favor will speak for you everywhere you go in Jesus name. The blood of Jesus protects, preserves and defends you in Jesus’ name. You’re never a victim, always a Victor in Jesus’ name.
