There is an evil I have seen under the sun, as an error proceeding from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, while the rich sit in a lowly place. I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants.

Ecclesiastes 10: 5-7 NKJV

Everything man lost in the Garden of Eden has been restored in Christ. “Therefore if any man be in Christ He is a new creation, old things are passed away and ALL things are become new and all things are of God.”

Christ has redeemed us from sin, poverty, sickness and disease, fear, and the power of death. He has restored us to a life of power and glory. He gave us control over every work of the devil (Luke10:18, 19).

“… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8 NKJV).

In spite of the victory of Christ over Satan, the freedom it has brought and the authority and control we have over Satan, most believers still live like victims. We still live a low second rated life. We have reduced the life Christ brought us into a religious observance.

We have postponed the victory and the quality of life that is ours now to sometime by and by when we get to heaven, but the scriptures say “as He (Christ) is so are we in this world,” not “so we will be in heaven.” Christ came to do more than take us to heaven, He came to give us a life here: God’s quality of life and living.

Satan, working through religion and ignorance has come through the back door to rob us yet again. Believers are more conscious of the works and presence of the devil than they are of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit and the finished works of Christ.

This is an error of wrong thinking and wrong believing orchestrated by wrong teaching. Well-meaning good people teaching their own belief system premised upon their cultural values and personal experiences and not the Word of God.

It’s time we search the Word of God for the true meaning of Christianity and know who we are indeed. Otherwise all that we are and have in Christ will elude us here on earth. We will not be an effective witness of His power, love and glory.

Refuse to walk in the error of dead religion and empty traditions of men. Don’t be scammed again. Choose to be all that Christ has made you to be. Live with power and glory.
