He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Isaiah 40:29 NKJV

God knows what you’re going through. He sees your sacrifice, your commitment, your secret fears and your unknown sufferings. The unnoticed pains behind that beautiful smile, your words of encouragement to the weary even when your burden far outweighs theirs. He knows you’re holding up with your last strand of strength. He knows the intensity of the pressure on you to compromise, circumvent system, abuse your privileges, and lower the standard. He sees the intimidations, the oppressions, and the injustice you’re suffering. The betrayals and the disappointments. He is particularly aware of all your struggles and failures. He knows you have tried and you only have little strength left in you.

You see, oftentimes we pray for deliverance but God gives us strength to go through it, we ask for a way out, but He shows us a way through it, we cry and whine but He brags about us. He is proud of you, making boast about you; “that’s my boy, he won’t break,” “that’s my girl, she won’t quit,” “that’s my minister, he won’t yield.”

Jesus once went through a time when He felt like quitting, so He knows what it means to feel like quitting, to feel like lowering the standard, to feel like compromising the original purpose. He knows what it means to face the unpalatable. He will sustain you, He will keep you, He will give you the victory. You will have a testimony. He will be proud of you till the end. Receive strength from above in Jesus name. Receive strength in your inner man, be refreshed from His holy presence. Your victory is assured. You will look back and wonder how did I get here from there, for He will sustain you and carry you on wings of the Spirit in Jesus name. God loves you beyond words can ever tell and I love you also.
