That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
Ephesians 1:17-18
Yesterday we looked at a few efficient weapons we possess in our arsenal. And I think that by now we have internalized them enough to confidently say that we know what we have.
However, this knowledge has to be more than just an information in your head, it must be a revelation in your heart, and it has to be experiential. How do you get there? You get there by taking the information in your head and doing a couple of things with it until it transcends from an information in the head to a revelation in the heart. What are these couple things?
- Meditation: When you regurgitate a thing long enough it transforms. That’s what meditation does. Meditation helps to transform the truth from an information in the head to a revelation in the heart.
- Declaration: Declaration helps to reestablish the truth in your heart and to release its vitality into reality in your life.
Most of the prayer of Paul for the church is not necessarily for God to ‘give’, rather it is for the eyes of the understanding of the church to be opened. The principal prayer of Apostle Paul is not that God will ‘give’ us things, but that we might know, have revelation and experience all that we already are and all that we already have.
Meditation and declaration are powerful tools that help us to figuratively open our eyes and keep them open.
PRAYER: I decree and declare that from today, I begin to walk in the reality of what weapons I have in my arsenal in Jesus’ name.
