“Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Matthew 13:18-23 NKJV

Continued from yesterday…

Though God still loves you and you’re still God’s child, you’re being cheated out of the fullness of God for your life. You see, being sick, poor, broke, defeated in life, or living in sin does not make God love you less, it only means you’re enjoying and experiencing less of God in your life by your inability to appropriate God’s Word for yourself.

Neither does living in prosperity, health, and success mean God loves that person more. They have only learnt to enjoy and experience more of God in their life by allowing the Word to become effective and productive in their life.

God’s Love is constant and given to all, and God wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health. Therefore, our attitude, disposition and commitment to God’s Word must be resolute even in the face of contrary circumstances and we must make it our number one priority in all our pursuits in order for us to enjoy His fullness.

Make a decision not to give up on the Word no matter what. Declare this: I am a good ground, God’s Word bears fruit in my life. I receive and understand God’s Word. I value and cherish the Word more than my legitimate needs, desires and pursuits. I walk in the fullness of God for my life in Jesus name. I am fruitful in every way in Jesus name. Amen.
