Riches and honor are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness… That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Proverbs 8:18, 21 KJV

Proverbs 8 is an eye opener. Today’s text reveals where money, riches and honor can be found. Wisdom declares “they’re with me, even enduring riches,” the type that lasts to your 10^th generation and beyond. This kind of wealth can be found in wisdom. Wisdom boasts of the capacity to fill our treasures. The need for money is universal, but the method of its acquisition varies. Nevertheless, there is something universal about those who possess it: Wisdom. 

In simple terms, I like to define Wisdom as the application of knowledge, the deployment of ideas, and the utilization of information to solve problems and meet human needs.

Wisdom does not discriminate against race, gender, religion, age etc. “I cause THEY (black or white, religious or vain, man or woman) that LOVE ME to inherit substance.” Look around you today, those who are wealthy are those who have applied certain knowledge, ideas, and innovation to solve problems and meet needs.

What knowledge are you applying to solve problems and meet human needs? What insight are you deploying to make doing business better, marriage work, people be healthier, learning exciting, career successful, even the mundane things of life and general living better? Nothing is insignificant as long as it is meeting needs and helping mankind. Our class clowns and jesters of yesterday are celebrity comedians of today. 

What is your contribution? How is your existence benefiting any group or category of people? Stop praying and wishing for money, start meeting needs. When you pray, God will give you an idea, insight, revelation, vision, information.

Money, wealth, substance, riches, are embedded in that insight, that skill, that knowledge, that idea, that God has giving you. Diligence is applying yourself to it and wisdom is applying it to solve problems and meet needs. Money will find you. The secrets of God are open to those who read His Word with open minds, unfettered with religion, for in it contains divine insights for living.

Take this secret into October and prepare to have an amazing experience.
