“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.

Isaiah 43: 18-19 NKJV

There’s something new God wants to do in our lives but we need to completely forget the former things i.e. what used to be, how it used to be, etc. We also need to stop the regrets, the had-I-known, would-have-been, should-have-been, and could-have-been. Clinging and holding on to the past blinds us and hinders our perception of the new things God has already begun. You just have to let go.

God wants our total surrender to him, He wants us to fully trust Him and know that He is able to start with us all over again. With God, your present situation doesn’t matter. He doesn’t care about what’s not working at the moment. He doesn’t judge you based on your background or past experiences. He is always right on time.

When God is ready to open a new chapter in your life, the new manifestation of His glory in your life will be nothing compared to what you had gone through. He comes to turn around the tide completely.

We have been created to do great and mighty things, it’s time now to rise to our full potential in Christ, leaving behind the past but with our full gaze on the future. Something great is about to take place… Be prepared… Get Set… The tide is about to turn… It’s about to rain down blessings.

The only direction we can go is forward because it is only in moving forward we will accomplish that which God has called us to do.

It is time to get your eyes off the past and set your gaze on the mighty power of the Lord. Let go of all the familiar and allow God to usher you into a whole new experience.
