But now, thus says the Lord , who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. 

Isaiah 43:1-4 NKJV

No matter what you are going through, no matter where you are in life, you can be rest assured it will pass away. It is not your final destination, it is just a bus stop, it is transient, and you won’t end up here. Don’t accept this as your lot in life, don’t resign to fate. God has something bigger and better for you. When God changes your situation, you will not look like what you have been through. You won’t look like what had happened to you. Your life will be enviable.

Therefore, while you are in that situation where you can’t see a way out, now that everything looks bleak and unpredictable, fill your heart with faith inspiring stories. Remember the story of Job. Think about Jabez. Don’t forget the story of Hannah. Recount the story of Abraham. ‘Shebi’ you remember Joseph. What about Sarah and David under Saul.

If you look around you I’m sure there are stories that will give you hope. Above all, call to mind God’s promises to you, let them be your meditation and contemplations. Faithful is He who has promised who also will bring it to pass. Every word spoken by God concerning you, none shall fail. Therefore, wipe your tears, lift up your hanging head and give God some praise. Praise Him through your tears if need be, declare His promises over your life. He is faithful.
